Lloyd ft. Awesome Jones: "Cupid"

Lloyd's third single off of his fourth studio album King of Hearts is "Cupid" ft. Awesome Jones. With a new label and a new album on the way I can see Lloyd's career becoming better than ever before. The executive producer is Polow Da Don, who has to be one of the best producers of this generation. The writing group Zone 4 has some of the best writers in the industry. It's sad to say, but thank God for the death of Murder Inc. Records. If they had still been inexsistance Lloyd probably wouldn't have been forced to find a new home at Interscope Records. Where he is being provided with great music that really fits his voice. It sounds pretty harsh, but it's the truth.

NEW VIDEOS: "One Night Stand"/ "My Last"

This was a great week in music. On Tuesday Chris Brown's new album F.A.M.E was released, and it's one of the hottest albums out right now. And lots of new videos were released, two of my favorite videos come from both Keri Hilson and Big Sean.
This first video comes from Keri Hilson. I like to call her Auntie Keri, because everyone knows how much I love her and I say her and I are related musically. So the first video comes from Auntie Keri. The third single off of her sophomore album No Boys Allowed is "One Night Stand" featuring Chris Brown. In my opinion this is the second best song off of the album. This first best song is "Beautiful Mistake", which I hope she does a video to *crosses fingers*. I of course love the video, this was something that I never expected. Especially because her and Chris have a mini dance scene. It's nothing really big however, although many people are saying she is copying off of Chris's and Ciara's 2008 BET Awards Performace. Personally I think people should just shut the hell up. Ciara is Ciara and Keri Hilson is Keri Hilson. That still doesn't stop the fact that this video is hot.

The next video comes from up and coming G.O.O.D Music artist Big Sean. The last post I actually did was to this song, and five days later the video is released. I honestly think this should be my new theme song, or at least become my theme song when I finally make it in music. "My Last" is on Big Sean's debut album Finally Famous.

Can You Say G.O.O.D Music?

One of the hottest songs out right now is "My Last" by Big Sean ft. Chris Brown off of Big Sean's debut album Finally Famous. If you couldn't tell by the title of the post Big Sean is signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music Group. The song is basically about living life to the fullest. After working so hard to reach your goals within life, you gotta live every moment like it was your last. I mean it's only right, thats the position I'm trying to reach within life. I really wish I had more to say about this song, but I honestly really don't. I guess the better the music the more speechless I become. The video to this single was recently shot, so I can predict that the video will be on the 106 & Park Top 10 countdown very soon.

What do you think of the song?

Gail Scott: "Jack N Jill"

I so LOVE being introduced to new music and new artist. This weeks new artist is Gail Scott and her first single is "Jack N Jill". I was up late one night on concreteloop.com  they had posted Jill Scott's song "Jack N Jill". I listened, I liked and an idea for a new post was born. It turns out one of my classmates actually knows Gail Scott personally. She was the one who told me she is associated with singer Tokyo Diiva (Bad Girls Club theme song) and Unique. Before I began working on this post I had to educate myself of course. From my research I learned that Gail Scott is also known as Scotty. She is 19 years old and she is a native of the Bronx, New York. She is signed to JeepBoyz Entertainment, Universal Motown and her debut album Tuff is expected to be dropping this summer. I also took it upon myself to check out her youtube channel, she is a really great vocalist. Not only that but she is one of those artist who has her own style and I really do admire her style.

Chris Brown: F.A.M.E

Forgiving All My Enemies is the meaning behind Chris Brown's new highly anticipated fourth studio album F.A.M.E. After everything that has happened in the past Chris is deciding to forgive those who had turned their backs on him through trying times. With new music, a new girlfriend and new look. He is gearing up for the March 22nd release of his next album. I'm personally excited for the release of this album because lots of music has been leaked from the album in this one week alone, and I must say the music is really great. However I knew the music would be great. With the release of his mixtapes In My Zone, In My Zone Pt.2 and Fan of Fan (joint mixtape with Tyga) Chris showed that he was still talented and no matter what he would continue to provide his audience with great music, and he has yet to disappoint. There are three songs in particular that I find to be my favorite. When March 22nd arrives I will be purchasing F.A.M.E.

F.A.M.E album cover, make sure you pick up your copy March 22nd!

This song is "She Ain't You" off of the upcoming album, this is my favorite song so far. This has an obvious Micheal Jackson feel, as well as a 90's feel. I must say the 90's was the highlight of Hip Hop and R&B. We need more music like this, so this song is two thumbs up.

This song is "Paper, Scissors, Rock"  featuring Timbaland and Big Sean. Timbaland has to be one of the best producers of our generation and I like the beat of the song. Therefore this songs recieves a thumbs uwell.

This song is "Bomb" featuring new rapper Wiz Khalifa, this song is hot and I can just image how big this song is going to be.
