On this weeks video of When The Beat Drops, I talk about the Whitney biopic that premiered on Lifetime last weekend and my true feelings on the film. I also talk about TLC's Kickstarter project as they look to fans to help them fund their final album. I then move on to Dawn Richard's recent interview with The Breakfast Club and I do a little review on her recent album Blackheart. I switch things up and talk about Lil Wayne's latest mixtape Sorry For The Wait 2 and his current relationship with Christina Milian. I end things off my talking about Jennifer Lopez's new Complex Magazine cover and feature.

When The Beat Drops #17: New Music Releases, Sevyn Streeter & B.o.B's Relationship, Empire Review & More

On this week's video of When The Beat Drops, I talk about some of the new music released since the start of 2015. Kanye West, Ne-Yo and LeToya Luckett are all included. I then move on to talk about K. Michelle and her new upcoming tour My Twisted Mind. I then switch things up to talk about Tinashe as she graces the cover of the latest music issue of V Magazine. I then get into some relationship news and talk about Sevyn Streeter and B.o.B as a couple as well as the new music Sevyn has coming our way. I end things off with talking about Fox's new scripted series Empire starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, and the music featured on the show.

New Music: Ciara "I Bet"

New mommy Ciara premiered her new track "I Bet" off of her upcoming album earlier today. In what seems to be a track directed towards her ex fiancé Future, the singer talks about someone wanting to love properly once their former lover has moved on to someone better. This is the first single off of Ciara's new album Jackie, which is named after her mother.

New Music: Sevyn Streeter "Don't Kill The Fun" ft. Chris Brown

Sevyn Streeter is starting the year off by releasing her new single "Don't Kill The Fun" featuring Chris Brown. The track was scheduled for a January 13th release date, but the singles demand caused for an earlier release. The track is expected to appear on Sevyn's debut studio album, which is currently untitled. However, with the success of her 2013 EP Call Me Crazy But. . ., I think it's safe to say this album is definitely anticipated.

New Music: "I'm Ready"/ "Make It Easy"

It's been some time since we've heard some music from LeToya Luckett, but she started 2015 off by giving fans a taste of what she's been working on lately. The Single Ladies actress treated us all to a new track entitled "I'm Ready", which is expected to be featured on her upcoming project that will be revealed later this year.
