Bow Wow & Chris Brown: "Ain't Thinking About You" VIDEO

This weekend the video for "Ain't Thinking About You" with Bow Wow and Chris Brown was released. However it was also featured on Chris Brown & Tyga's mixtape Fan of a Fan mixtape that was released this year in May. It was a Chris Brown song featuring Bow Wow. However this time around it is a Bow Wow song featuring Chris Brown. The difference in the song is Bow Wow's verse is now first and Chris Brown's verse is second, and Bow Wow has an extra verse added to the song. The music to the song sounds a little bit different as well. I guess when the song was put on the Fan of a Fan mixtape it was incomplete or something. I remember seeing Bow Wow tweet about finishing the song, and I thought to myself isn't the song already finished. Guess it wasn't, but when Bow Wow and Chris Brown both tweeted about shooting the video I was really excited about it. If you recall I posted about the Fan of a Fan mixtape back in August and "Ain't Thinking About You" was on the list of my favorite songs from the mixtape. Although I'm confused as to who the song belongs to now, I still love the video. Who doesn't love to see Bow Wow propose to a girl, had it been me I wouldn't of left him. He will be on 106 & Park tomorrow to premire the video to the entire world.
Here is the entire video

Here is the original track on the Fan of a Fan mixtape

This video here explains everything better

UPDATE:  Today on 106 & Park Bow Wow explained that the version on the Fan of a Fan mixtape was the first version, then him & Chris Brown decided to turn it to an actual song and mix it, releasing it as a song song. It will appear on Bow Wow's upcoming album WHO IS SHAD MOSS (TBA).

Electrik Red

Once again I feel like it's my duty to inform the public about artist that are talented and overlooked. This time I want to inform you guys about Electrik Red, signed to Radiokilla/Def Jam.

From left to right: Lesley, Naomi, Sarah & Binkie

I first found out about Electrik Red in early 2009 when their first single "So Good" was released. They were introduced to the world as Electrik Red, a group signed to the Dream's record label Radiokilla. The group is made up of four women, Binkie, Lesley, Naomi and Sarah. Binkie and Lesley are childhood friends from New York City, and Naomi and Sarah are childhood friends from Toronto,Canada. If you watch a lot of music videos or go to several concerts these young ladies may be familiar to you. They've been on tour as background dancers for artist such as Usher and Mariah Carey. They have also been featured in music videos as models and dancers. Lesley was in Chris Brown's 2006 video for his single "Say Goodbye", and I remember seeing Naomi and Sarah in the Dreams video for "Shawty is a  Ten". They were all in Ciara's video for "Like a Boy". On May 26,2009 they relaesed their debut album How to be a Lady Volume 1. One thing that I like about this group is each member has a very different, but outgoing personality. They make their job fun and that shows in their music. I wish they would have gotten more recognition the first time. However they are currently working on their second album How to be a Lady Voulume 2, therefore I hope things go way better for them the second time around.

NEW MUSIC: "She Likes"

Today I heard a new song from Pleasure P featuring Latoya Luckett entitled "She Likes". When I first heard the song I was just listening to it, I didn't feel any type of way towards the song. Pleasure P was part of the group Pretty Ricky, he became a solo artist in 2008. He released his first solo album The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, released June 9, 2009. He is supposed to be releasing another album later on this year called Pleasure Principles. In my opinion I think it won't be till sometime next year when he releases his next album because there is a lot that goes into releasing an album. He has to promos, releasing a single to radio stations, videos, photoshoots, etc. However I am looking forward to hearing more new music from him because I actually do like this song. Keke Palmer & Teyana Taylor

This post is dedicated to Keke Palmer and Teyana Taylor because I feel like they are two of the most amazing females around my age group in the entertainment industry. I like that they bring variety and their careful at what they do. When I say that I'm saying they bring fashion, music, acting and charity to the public. I feel like they are great at what they do.

Begining with Keke Palmer, I think she is talented and she is a beautiful person both inside and outside. When I first heard that she does a lot of charity work I became a bigger fan of hers. For her 17th birthday instead of asking for gifts she asked her family to donate $17 dollars to the charity "Water" and she asked her fans to donate $10. I myself try to find ways to help people and animals who are less fortunate. I said if my dreams were ever to come true I would use my talents and money to help those who are not able to help themeselves. I don't like to see poverty and struggle. Sometimes I question why is it I am blessed to have everyhthing that I want and need. Meanwhile people who live in the same country, yet alone the same state as me are not able to do well for themselves. So I still keep that same promise to myself, that I will try to do what ever it is I can do to help those in need of help. Keke Palmer is also a great actress, I love her show True Jackson VP on Nick. When I seen videos of her singing I was impressed, especially because I also have a big love for music. She is now signed to Interscope Records and I am excited to see hear what kind of music she will be releasing.

Teyana Taylor is also another young entertainer that I admire. I think she is so different from anyone and everyone. One thing I admire about her the most is her style, she is just so different and I think she looks fabulous all the time. Like Keke Palmer she also has a love for music, she released a single called "Google Me" in 2008. She still hasn't released her album yet, so I'm still waiting for that.

This is a makeup tutorial done by Teyana Taylor live on her ustream. I watched and found this to be very helpful, especially when you want to learn how to apply foundation and concelar.

NEW MUSIC: Pretty Girl Rock/First Time

In one week I have come across two new songs that I have fell in love with instantly. This time these songs were actually released by the artist instead of being leaked. So lets begin:

This week Keri Hilson "officially" released her video for her first song "Braking Point" (although it was leaked and I posted it a couple weeks ago). She also released a new single called "Pretty Girl Rock". Now I actually like this song. When listening to the song the lyrics seem a little bit cocky, but at the same time I thought why think cocky when it can be considered confident. However the attitude Keri Hilson potrays in this song is the total opposite of who I am. Then again it's not about me, but I think this song can be a confidence booster. The more new music I hear from Keri the more excited I am for her new album to come out in November.

This week I was also introduced to a new released track entilted "First Time". The song is by Tyga (♥ my current celebrity crush) and Pharrell Williams. I first heard about this song via/Facebook and decided to watch the interview he did with MTV. Tyga said when he was in the studio with Pharrell they were having a conversation about music and fashion and after they were finished the beat for the song was already done. I like the beat of the song a lot. I also like the song because it shows a more softer side to Tyga. I think it's always good to see the soft and gentle side of guys. After listening to this song I looked at Tyga as a total different artist. He proved that he can expand and talk about things his female fans can enjoy opposed to things he already talks about in his music.

CORRECTION: This song was actually leaked, but after being leaked Tyga did talk about the song when asked about it.
