The week isn't even over yet, but there has been nothing but great new music from left to right. This week Kendrick Lamar has FINALLY released new music. After the success of his debut album Good Kid M.A.D.D. City everyone has been looking to see what he would do next for his sophomore album. After some time he has broken his silence, and released his new single "i". The single clearly samples the Isley Brothers classic hit "Who's That Lady", but other than that the West Coast rapper is offering self confidence to his listeners. With lines such as, "everybody lack confidence, how many times my potential was anonymous" and "I love myself" repeatedly throughout the chorus, I can see this turning out to be yet another hit for him.

Keyshia's name has been in everyone's mouth this past week after she was arrested last weekend. Apparently after the all the drama, it seems like the singer has not lost sight as to what's more important, and that would have to be her music. Her new album Point of No Return will be releasing very soon on October 7th. Before the albums arrival she has released a total of three singles and two music videos, and it looks like she is ready to offer up some more. This week she released a new single entitled "Remember (Part 2)", which is of course a follow up from her hit single "I Remember" off of her second album Just Like You (2007). Of course this time the single is directed to her soon to be ex husband, Daniel Gibson, but nonetheless, the hurt is definitely there.
