New Music: "Body Party"/ "5AM in Toronto"

Last week Ciara released the third single off of her fifth studio album One Woman Army. Her new single "Body Party" was produced by fellow ATL producer Mike Will Made It. The song samples Ghost Town Dj's hit single "My Boo". Recently Ciara has been making headlines for her personal life as she recently started dating rapper Future. I actually like this song and I may be one of the few people looking for her to win and get back on top this time around. There is no official release date for the album, but she is looking to release the album as early as this upcoming Spring.

This week Drake released the second single off of his upcoming studio album Nothing Was The Same, "5am in Toronto" is said to be the follow up from his "9am in Dallas" single, which appeared on his Thank Me Later album. In this particular single it's rumored that he addressed the whole Chris Brown club brawl and the issues he recently had with The Weekend. Nothing Was The Same, does not have an official release date as of yet, but it's expected to drop later on this year.

Grammys 2013 Favorite Looks

King Bey played it safe this year, but still managed to remain one of the best dressed.

Rihanna looked amazing in all red.

Chris Brown has been going through a lot lately, but managed to clean up nice.

Chris & Rihanna were definitely the talk of the night.

Kelly Rowland just looked simply amazing.

Erica Campbell from my favorite gospel group Mary Mary looked amazing, she's been getting into a lot of solo work lately, and you can see where it all began on her hit reality tv show Mary Mary on WE TV on Thursdays at 9pm.

Elle Varner didn't walk the carpet but she still had an amazing look, especially with her hair change up.

Rocsi Diaz looked nice and kept it simple in a Fifth & Mercer jumpsuit.

Years later SWV is still looking great and getting nominated for Grammy's.

Nas was nominated for six Grammy's for his current album Life is Good, and won no awards (which was cazy) however he did switch up the traditional tuxedo look.

I introduced you all to Bridget Kelly about two years ago and this year she won her first Grammy for her songwriting skills on Kelly Clarkson's song "Stronger".

She recently released her new single "Lolita"which was produced by Pharrell himself. She is expected to release her untitled debut album later on this year.

New Music Video: "She Don't Put It Down"

Many of you may be familiar with Joe Budden from this season of Love & Hip Hop New York. He first made his debut in the rap game a few years back with his hit single "Pump It Up". Since then he has been doing a lot of underground mixtape work and his rap group Slaughter House was signed to Shady Records sometime next year. With his new profound television fame Joe Budden has released his latest single "She Don't Put It Down" ft. Fabolous, Lil Wayne and Tank. The single has been played all over New York radio and recently a visual has been released. Joe Budden's current studio album No Love Lost is currently in stores.

2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show

By now I'm sure you all have seen the Beyonce halftime show, at last nights Super Bowl game Beyonce simply just shut it down. From the beginning to the end she did more than an amazing job. She performed a melody of  "Crazy in Love, "End of Time" and "Baby Boy". For some people the highlight of the show was the expected reunion of Destiny's Child. Many people were saying that Kelly and Michelle's microphones were lowered when the trio sung "Single Ladies" and that did seem kind of true, but then again it is a Beyonce song so it doesn't matter. However, many people were disappointed with Michelle's vocals when she did sing her part of "Single Ladies" and did receive negative feedback from people such as Keyshia Cole (the singer who didn't sell much copies of her recent album). One thing people need to realize is that Michelle is good for THEATER and GOSPEL music. So don't expect her to sound the top of the line when singing a Beyonce song, only Beyonce can sing the hell out of a Beyonce song. Nonetheless it was great seeing DC3 back together on stage and 2013 is already labeled as Beyonce's year. She literally shut down the Superdome, especially since there was a blackout after her performance. Now everyone can expect to see Beyonce on tour this summer on The Mrs. Carter Show, I will be there August 3rd in my hometown Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center.
