New Music: "Started from the Bottom"

Drake is already creating a buzz for himself at the top of this year with his new single "Started from the Bottom". The Mike Zombie produced track was posted on Drake's official blog, the song basically discusses  his journey to where he currently is. This song is already on everyone's playlist so Drake will be coming full force this year.

New Music: "Tryna Wife"/ "I Do"

Now that the new year is in full effect, new music is coming from every where. The first new single comes from a artist named Jo'zzy. Her new single "Tryna Wife" was produced by Wizz Dumb. She also goes by Dope By Accident, she's a well known writer from producer Timbaland's camp. The beat gives that vintage Timbaland sound, and that just makes this track hot overall.

Now a days Olivia is most known for her role on VH1's hit reality show Love & Hip Hop New York. The first two seasons viewers watched as Olivia struggled to get another major record deal. Since then she has signed to Wonda Music, and she released her first single off of the label "I Do" featuring French Montana. The single is expected to be on her upcoming studio album Show the World, which has no set release date as of yet. 

Ciara: One Woman Army

Recently Ciara posted the behind the scenes video of her rehearsals from her VH1's Divas performance, which took place late last year in December. In the video Ciara showcases her dance moves and all that goes into preparing for one of her performances. For the past few years Ciara has been getting a lot of  bad criticism for the kind of artist that she currently is. She's being considered a has-bent before she even reaches the age of 30. She may not be the powerhouse vocalist like Beyonce or she may not bring the bad girl sex appeal like Rihanna but I do think that she is a good artist. She is an amazing dancer and that has been known since she has appeared on the music scene. She's a pretty decent vocalist and can sing live, especially when she's performing a ballot. I think people need to cut her some slack because she does work really hard and tries to be the best artist she can.  

New Music: "Ready"/ "Kisses Down Low"

After releasing his latest mixtape Soul Tape 2 late last year, Fabolous is gearing up to release his upcoming studio album Loso's Way II, the first single off this album is "Ready" featuring Chris Brown. As of now there is no official release date as to when the album will be releasing. 

Following her last single "Ice", Kelly Rowland has released a new single produced by Mike Will Made It. Her new single "Kisses Down Low" will appear on her upcoming album Year of the Woman.

New Video: Tamar Braxton- "Love & War"

Yesterday Tamar Braxton stopped by 106 & Park where she dropped her highly anticipated music video for her first single "Love & War" off of her upcoming album, which is expected to drop next month. The video shows black and white visuals of her on a beach, where you can see the love and war part of a relationship play out with her and her leading man.

New Music: "Nuclear"- Destiny's Child

So far 2013 is off to a great start as it was recently announced that Destiny's Child will be reuniting to put out  their next album Love Songs, which is scheduled to be released on January 29th. The first single off the album is "Nuclear" produced by Pharrell and co-written by Michelle Williams. Aside from Destiny's Child reuniting, Beyonce's anticipated Super Bowl half time show has been rumored to also to feature both Kelly and Michelle, like everyone else I am waiting for February 3rd to arrive to see the return of  Beyonce and possibly the return of Destiny's Child as a whole. 

New Music: "I Like It"- Sevyn Streeter

My first music post of 2013 and I am totally in love with this song. Today's new music comes from Atlantic Records new artist Sevyn Streeter. Many people may know her from her former group Rich Girl, but as of right now she is a solo artist signed to Atlantic and she is also apart of Chris Brown's CBE Entertainment Group. For the past couple of years she has been known for writing for other artist. She has been writing with Chris Brown for the past three years and was featured on his single "She Ain't You" off of his F.A.M.E album, as well as various songs off of his Fortune album. Last week she stopped by 106 & Park over in LA to drop off the video to her first single "I Like It". As a surprise Chris Brown stopped by as well and I think this is the best new video to be on the show this year thus far. From the hair and make up, to the wardrobe and choreography. I've personally have been listening to this song back to back for the past couple of days, so I'm only looking forward to more music from Sevyn Streeter this year.
