When The Beat Drops #28: Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill, K. Michelle Court Case, Ciara Interview & More

On this weeks video I talk about Nick Minaj and Meek Mill's relationship and Nicki's new diamond ring and whether or not the two are currently engaged. Next I talk about K. Michelle and Viacom's victory in court as they recently won a $65 million lawsuit that was set against them. Then I move over to Rihanna as she made headlines this week after being accused of snorting cocaine. Ciara visited The Breakfast Club this week so I talk about their interview and more details on her new album Jackie. I end things off by talking about Monica and her upcoming album Code Red.

New Music Video: J Cole "Wet Dreamz"

After the success of his latest album 2014 Forest Hills Drive, J Cole continues to release the official visuals to compliment the singles on the project. For his latest visual Cole puts a new twist to things for his latest single "Wet Dreamz". One of my first favorites off of the album, I have to admit I did not picture the music video to be this way. Directed by Ryan Staake, J Cole puts his creativity to use to bring his latest video to life as he raps about losing his virginity.

When The Beat Drops #26: #TidalForAll, iHeart Music Awards, Summer Jam 2K15 & More

On this weeks video I talk about the new music streaming service Tidal owned by Jay-Z and other multiple musical artist and the impact they plan to have on the music industry. I also talk about some of my favorite performances from last weeks iHeart Music Awards, which took place in LA last week. I then move on HOT 97's annual Summer Jam concert as this years lineup was released this week. Switching gears I talk about Ciara's latest album Jackie as she revealed the album cover and the tour dates for her Jackie Tour going down next month. I then end things off with a new duo making their way into the industry by the name of DumbBlonde.

New Music Videos: "King Kunta"/ "G.O.M.D"

With the success of his sophomore album To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar took it back to his hometown of Compton to shoot the music video for his latest single "King Kunta". K. Dot can be seen putting his city on the map as everyone dances it up in the streets on Compton to the uptempo track.

New Music: August Alsina "Hip Hop"

With the one year anniversary of his debut album Testimony only 14 days away. August Alsina decided to release new music, which can possibly make an appearance on his upcoming sophomore album. This time around it seems like he's taking a new direction with his lyrics in his new single "Hip Hop" as he sings about classic hip hop moments and compares them to life experiences while sampling Naughty By Nature's "Hip Hop Hooray".
