The songs mentioned on this list were released between January 2010 to September 2010. Popular songs released October 2010 to December 2010 do not qualify because they were released towards the end of the year.
#1. Deuces- Chris Brown ft. Tyga & Kevin McCall
Deuces is the first and only single released off of Chris Brown and Tyga's mixtape Fan of a Fan. I must say that has to be the best mixtapes of this year. The song was such a success that it has been nominated for a grammy. Showing that an artist does not need the support of their record label to make moves within their career. It's all about their creative direction, and what message their trying to potray. 2010 in general was a big year for Chris Brown alone. After his whole situation in 2009, he lost a lot of support from people. Making Chris Brown realize who were his real fans and friends. After gaining the support of the public again he is ready to release a new album in 2011 called F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies). 2010 was also a good year for Tyga as well, with this mixtape and his solo mixtape Well Done people were able to hear him more lyrically. Most of all this single introduced the world to singer/songwriter Kevin McCall, he has done a lot of behind the scenes work. So I'm excited to see what great music he will release in 2011.
#2. Teach Me How To Dougie -Cali Swag District
One of the newcomers of this year is Cali Swag District and I must say they picked a perfect song as their first single. Their song is about a dance called the Dougie that is famous on the West Coast, so when it was released here in the East it was a big deal. Everyone, and when I say everyone either learned or tried their best to learn how to dougie. If I had to crown someone who is outside the group with the best dougie, it would have to be Chris Brown. Therefore giving Cali Swag District the best dance song of 2010.
This is a Chris Brown interview from August 2010 on 106 & Park...he begins to dougie around the 2:55 mark
#3 Hello Good Morning- Diddy Dirty Money ft. T.I & Rick Ross
Diddy also known as P.Diddy, Puff Daddy and a few other names has been promoting his new group Dirty Money for the last two years and 2010 was most definetly their year. Their debut album Last Train to Paris was released earlier this month on December 13th. "Hello Good Morning" was the third single released from this album. The song became so popular that the remix to the song gained even more buzz. The remix features Nicki Minaj.
#4. Find Your Love -Drake
Last year Drake created such a buzz that everyone was looking his way in 2010. When he entered the rap game everyone was looking to see what he had to offer just for the simple fact that he was known as the character Jimmy on the teen drama Degrassi. He made it clear that he had left that behind him and he had a lot to offer the music industry. His debut album Thank Me Later was released on June 15th and "Find Your Love" was released on May 5th. This song became such a big hit that it was a big deal when the music video finally came out. Many viewers wondered why Drake would follow after a female who only led him to trouble. None the less this single had to be within the top 5 songs of 2010.
#5. Nothin On You -B.o.B ft. Bruno Mars
B.o.B and Bruno Mars both deserve the title of best new artist of 2010, the kind of music these two brought to the industry this year makes me think that the music industry can still be saved. "Nothin on You" was the first single off of B.o.B's debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray released on April 27th. This song became so popular that both B.o.B and Bruno Mars gained so much attention and so much hype before both of their albums dropped. The following single off of B.o.B's debut album was "Airplanes" featuring Haley Williams of Paramore. Bruno Mars went to go on and release his two singles "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade", which are on his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans released on October 4th. This song will be marked as an all time favorite of 2010.

From Rihanna's most talked about album Rated R released in 2009, "Rude Boy" was the single that caught everyone's eyes and ears. #7. Bottoms Up -Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj
The first single from Trey Songz highly anticipated fourth studio album Passion Pain & Pleasure (September 14, 2010) was released in June 2010. With the success of his thrid album Ready people couldn't wait to hear what else Trey Songz had in store. He delivered as he got one of the biggest feature artist of the year Nicki Minaj to join him on the track. This song actually was the cause of famous sayings amongst the public. This year was actually a big year for Katy Perry, she released her third studio album and she also married UK comedian Russell Brand. Following this song Katy Perry released her singles "Teenage Dream" and "Firework".

"Your Love" by Nicki Minaj was such a big single for the Young Money rapper because this was her first solo single, which was released on June 1st. It was apart of her debut album Pink Friday released on November 22nd, which was the 2nd rap album released the week it came out. Nicki Minaj gained her success as being the featured artist on other people's songs. So when she finally released a song that was going to be on her album many people were happy because it gave them a preview as what to expect on her album.

Eminem has to be one of the artist on this list with the best year ever due to his 10 grammy nominations. "Love The Way You Lie" from his seventh studio album Recovery was release on August 17th the album was released on June 21st. Eminem was also named the number one rapper on BET's Top Ten Rappers of the Past 10 Years.
